Tsunami, Mortal Waves

After more than three weeks, while people’s attention to the Indian ocean and its mortal event diminish with time, still there are lots of questions to ask from governments, about their responsibility, and about the thing they must have done but didn’t. It is an absolutely critical question that why nobody warned people about ineluctable tsunami after such a huge earthquake. As a geologist, I was undoubtedly expecting for the news about tsunami and about the lives have been saved by smart geologists who predicted exactly the events after quake. The first news about death on India and Seri Lanka baffled me. What the hell geologists are doing? That was a question, which was answered soon. Nothing! Whole Asian and world geologist was waiting to be witness of millions of death. In year 2004, in the 21st centaury, this is a shame not only on geologist but also on all of governors, politicians and scientists. I hardly believe what I see and I wish all of these things to be a nightmare, which would vanish as soon as I get up.
I express my deep sorrow and grief on sad demise of thousands of human kind.
